Le Porte Del Paradiso

A man is watching some footage shot on a Super 8 where two mysterious girls move around in a continuous mirror game until a murder occurs. Is this real footage stolen from reality or just fiction? Are the girls really killing the man behind the camera or is this just staging? Are the girls just playing games, or are they actually playing deadly games and risking their lives? Are we really witnessing the girls kill the man behind the camera to free themselves and become the demiurges of the movie, or are they killing him to escape their fictional parts and go back to real life? Or else, are they killing themselves to escape life?
The images we are shown do not seem to follow a chronological order, and it is left to the viewer to unravel the story and make sense of this enigma.
