A two-part documentary based in Detroit, MI, a young man seeks to crack the surface around mental health and sexual health within the African American community by interviewing with family, friends, and professionals. His passion for the subject lies in the fact that society has not yet reached a consensus on how to properly discuss African American health. In all, "Black Health IS" not only gets the ball rolling for more in depth conversation around the topic, it does so in a manner that is inviting and genuine.
